        Mr. Kulakov started the meeting at 10:10.

2. Assessment of the situation

        Technical and organizational questions need to be discussed.
        Preliminary list of questions to customer needs to be prepared.

3. Discussion

        3.A - Technical issues
        
                - Mr. Kulakov starts discussion of project web-page 
                and e-mail list for Russian part of team.
               
                - The CVS repository problem is discussed. Mr. Salo suggests
                3 variants: use one CVS repository in Helsinki, use CVSup tool,
                or use DCVS tool.

        3.B - Organization
        
                - Roles in project are discussed. Mr. Kulakov assigns roles
                to each team member.

                - Possible variants of team division are discussed.

        3.C - Questions to the customer

                - Mr. Kulakov assigns question topics for each team member.

4. Action points

        - Mr. Ananin: existing TCP/IP animators survey.
        - Mr. Kryshen: system deployment and portability questions.
        - Mr. Kulakov: data filtration questions.
        - Mr. Salo: input data and internal data format questions.
