Dacopan project                         MEETING MINUTES

        Feb 08th, 2004, at 15:00.

1. Start
        Mr. Kulakov started the meeting at 15:05.

2. Assessment of the situation
        The last Sunday summary meeting before leaving Helsinki.

3. Discussion
        The meeting started with repeating the last task
        assignments. Then the group started to review the Project
        Plan and Requirements Specifications documents:

        * Project plan
          - Mr. Kulakov suggested not to divide the Introduction in
            subsections;
          - discussed the need of having access to run tcpdump;
          - discussed size estimated method, Mr. Kryshen suggested to
            remove XML from the list of estimated programming
            languages, Mr Korzun suggested to use the source code of
            the tcptrace tool for size estimation;
          - Mr. Korzun suggested to divide the integration stage in
            the local schedule into local integration and global
            integration stages;
          - discussed the CASE Tools section.

        * Requirements specification
          - discussion of the possibilities to have one/many/no
            TCP connections to in the tcpdump log file;
          - suggested to move the scenarios descriptions to the
            Problem Domain Model section;
          - System Constraints section: subsections Basic Cases and
            User Interface Requirements should be based on scenarios.
        
        Also the group discussed the need of the document versioning
        rules and started to collect terms for the glossary.
        
4. Action points
        Mr. Kryshen will review the Working Procedures, Monitoring and
        Reporting section, write the Other Issues section (Project
        Plan), suggest a format for the document versions.

        Mr. Salo will replace the "consolidator" term with the
        "analyzer" in the Project Plan, add a description for the Size
        Estimate table (Project Plan).

        Mr. Kulakov will write the local schedule.      

        Mr. Ananin will work on the Case Tools section (Project Plan),
        specify the analyzer requirements, replace the "consolidator"
        term with the "analyzer" in the Requirements Specification.
5. End
        Mr. Kulakov ended the meeting at 17:40.
